As the director of learning and organizational development at CHOC, Debbie Moysychyn leads talent development, performance management and engagement strategies for the pediatric health system. She is a calculated risk-taker who provides unconventional solutions to conventional problems. With 25 years of experience, Dr. Moysychyn is highly proficient at challenging the status quo. Her deep knowledge in change management and leadership and team development, together with data-driven strategic business decisions, enables her to be a catalyst for growth and to drive initiatives that empower and elevate high-performing cultures. Dr. Moysychyn seeks to inspire people to be exceptional. She works to build a foundation of continuous learning needed to achieve extraordinary results in patient care while retaining, developing and engaging CHOC associates and physicians. Dr. Moysychyn earned Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Miami (Go Canes!). She obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, and her doctorate in education from Brandman University. Dr. Moysychyn is an adjunct professor at UMass Global. She also serves on the advisory board for Chapman University, Attallah College of Educational Studies, and on the board of directors of ACHE of Southern California, an ACHE chapter. Dr. Moysychyn is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
