Dan Collard
Dan Collard is a seasoned healthcare executive with almost 30 years of healthcare industry experience, including operations, consulting and technology startups. He is the co-founder of Healthcare Plus Solutions Group along with long-time colleague Quint Studer. Most recently, Mr. Collard served as executive vice president/chief growth officer of TeamHealth, one of the nation’s largest hospital-based physician practices. Prior to TeamHealth, Mr. Collard served as president of Press Ganey’s Strategic Consulting division and as CEO of EVOQ Medical Inc., a healthcare technology startup in Atlanta. He spent 13 years at Studer Group as a senior leader, where he served organizations in the U.S., Australia and Canada, ranging from rural hospitals to national health systems and academic medical centers. While at Studer Group, Mr. Collard was invited by the Canadian College of Health Leaders to be the first U.S. presenter at its 2017 National Health Leadership Conference. Prior to his time at Studer Group, Mr. Collard was a health system operator within HCA and LifePoint Health. He has always enjoyed the role of change agent within each organization he has led. In healthcare operations, Mr. Collard and his leadership teams helped their organizations attain best-in-class performance across a balanced set of metrics, including quality, patient experience, physician and employee engagement, volume growth, and financial performance. His passion for improving healthcare led to Mr. Collard being asked to testify before the U.S. House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs in June 2014 during the run-up to the bill signed into law that August.
