Christine Madigan is Tufts Medicine’s first chief consumer officer. She leads marketing and communications programs focused on transforming the consumer experience at the academic health system, including strategic marketing and consumer journey mapping. She also oversees internal communication and supports workforce initiatives aimed at keeping the consumer perspective at the forefront and providing unmatched experiences for patients and their care teams. Prior to joining Tufts Medicine, Ms. Madigan served in multiple roles at New Balance Athletics Inc., where she built and led the New Balance global marketing and brand management organization, doubling global brand revenues during her tenure. She has also worked as a marketing strategy consultant, developing brand equity assessments and marketing strategy for numerous industries, including financial services, beverages, restaurants and automotive. She started her career in brand management at Coca-Cola USA in Atlanta and spent almost a decade driving Diet Coke brand growth. Ms. Madigan earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her undergraduate degree from Tufts University.
