Christine Behr is director of patient transport and support services optimization at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. She is a results-oriented healthcare leader experienced in successfully leading strategic and operational change. Most recently, she played a pivotal role in the successful transition of the support services management model from outsourced to self-operations using an operational excellence framework. Previously, Ms. Behr has done extensive work in performance excellence, leading cross-organizational initiatives using project management, change management and change leadership tools to drive innovative, sustainable solutions. She has demonstrated measurable results in the areas of patient throughput, length of stay and care coordination. Ms. Behr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare policy and administration from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Temple University. In addition, she is a certified Project Management Professional, a Lean Six Sigma black belt and an ACHE Member.
