About the Session
The COVID-19 pandemic has further highlighted the systemic and historical nature of health disparities in access to care and health outcomes across different populations and communities. As part of the journey to eliminate these disparities and achieve health equity, it is critical that leaders at the helm of hospitals and health systems build trust with the individuals in communities they serve. Join Denise Brooks-Williams, senior vice president/north market CEO, Henry Ford Health System, as she shares her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and how building trust and relationships can help bridge these gaps to promote equity across the spectrum, and how her individual leadership journey has provided her with the expertise needed to address these issues in her community.
