About the Session

This seminar will detail the current state of civilian healthcare, including issues related to healthcare reform. After attending this session, you will be well-versed in the most- and least-beneficial techniques related to key components of an executive job search. These components include networking, writing an executive resume, identifying the “right” opportunities, preparing for and mastering interviews, properly using references and negotiating skillfully. Resources and samples will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to gain insight from a former military leader. You also will learn about the most recent biannual employment survey results of ACHE members who retired from the military and transitioned into healthcare and other industries.

  • Discover how others have moved from military to civilian healthcare and learn from their experiences.
  • Review professional development techniques needed for this transition, including networking, interviewing skills and resume preparation.
