S03B – A Strategic Guide for a Successful Administrative Fellowship Application

Monday, March 23rd

About the Session

This seminar is broken down into three phases. Phase one is about searching for a good fit. This will help you nail down what you are looking for in an administration fellowship and find a matching program. Phase two is focused on building a strong application and sharing best practices for resumes, personal statements and letters of recommendation. Phase three is all about how to handle phone and on-site interviews, and negotiating and accepting offers. There will also be a question-and-answer session.

Learning Objectives:

  • Evaluate different fellowship programs to identify if they are a good fit, and outline strategies for the interview process.
  • Discover how to successfully plan for a fellowship, and review key takeaways such as organizations’ expectations of potential fellows.
