About the Session

The Masters of Health Equity recognizes healthcare leaders who are changing systems and delivering new approaches to ensure disparities in healthcare quality and access are eliminated. Victoria W. Bayless, FACHE, CEO, Luminis Health, leads an integrated system with two hospitals and more than 6,400 employees. Ms. Bayless was also the receipient of the American Hospital Association’s 2019 Equity of Care Award. Nick Macchione, FACHE, agency director, County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency serves over 1.1 million people through the agency and its 350 contracted community-based organizations. Mr. Macchione was the receipient of the Baldridge Foundation’s 2018 Harry S. Hertz Leadership Award.
