About the Session

Join two healthcare leaders recognized for employing innovation in their strategies and operations to improve patient outcomes, engage their staff and clinicians, and provide more efficient and positive outcomes. Ninfa M. Saunders, DHA, FACHE, president/CEO, Navicent Health oversees a fully integrated five-hospital system and successfully formed a strategic merger with Atrium Health. Additionally Dr. Saunders received the American Hospital Association’s 2018 Equity of Care Award. Marc L. Boom, MD, FACP, FACHE, president/CEO, Houston Methodist oversees a fully integrated health system with a world-renowned academic medical center as well seven community hospitals with more than 24,000 employees. Houston Methodist has lead breakthroughs in organ transplantation, orthopedics, cancer treatment and neurology. Both Dr. Saunders and Dr. Boom are thought-leaders in the areas of innovation and disruptive change, leading operational teams to achieve better results while being mindful of the likelihood of reduced resources in the future.
