About the Session

Leading with love and compassion allows leaders to help those they serve experience greater levels of job engagement and fulfillment, which leads to higher levels of job performance and better organizational performance. This is based on real-life experiences and data utilizing nine core values of this leadership style: commitment, walk the talk, being grudgeless, servant leadership, patience, trustful, honesty, communication and courage.

Learning Objectives:

  • Exhibit a full understanding of the nine core values of leading with love and compassion in healthcare.
  • Choose at least three core values to include in a concise action plan that can be implemented within 30 days of the Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
