About the Session

We are currently facing the greatest public health crises of our lifetime. While significant effort has been made to implement approaches to prevent, treat and reduce the spread of COVID-19, there is a continued need for large-scale strategies that improve outcomes. To meet this charge, states, counties and health systems have risen to the occasion and rolled out a number of successful interventions to place the health and safety of their patients and communities at the forefront. This session will feature AHA leadership and highlight examples of successful efforts to combat the current pandemic and provide current thinking for for scaling these approaches to improve COVID-19 testing, treatment and vaccine distribution across the country.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore successful examples of local and state efforts to combat the pandemic.
  • Evaluate approaches to successfully scale strategies to improve COVID-19 testing, treatment and outcomes.

This session qualifies for 1.0 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credit. Attendees must participate during the scheduled time to earn ACHE Face-to-Face Education credit.
