About the Session

The program will provide basic economic and resource allocation information to those new to the industry and those seeking to advance in the industry. Basic information on the economics driving the healthcare industry, including federal laws and bills reforming the industry and resource allocation methodologies to address the driving forces of the economy, will be addressed.

  • Identify the economic pressures facing healthcare organizations today, including federal laws and bills designed to reform the industry.
  • Apply institutional resource allocation strategies to effectively address the economic pressures.
