About the Session

Very few healthcare executives are returning to medical school. Many physicians, however, are becoming executives, joining ACHE, pursuing new graduate degrees and sitting for the FACHE® certification. Some are CMOs, and, increasingly, more are aspiring to the C-Suite. How well we integrate with one another is critical to our mutual success. Join us for a robust discussion of how to work better together without stereotype or prejudice and with the skills of cooperative collaboration. Kevin has taught and coached physician leaders for over 30 years. He has also recently interviewed over 50 healthcare executives. Bring your lived experience and questions on how to develop a co-mentoring experience.

Learning Objectives:

  • Determine the similarities as well as the differences that exist between differently educated and trained collaborative teams.
  • Develop a plan of action for more robust collaboration between your physician leaders and your non-physician executives.
