About the Session

Healthcare is, and will always come back to, people caring for people. The pandemic has significantly impacted the healthcare workforce, from burnout and resilience to unprecedented staffing shortages that continue to challenge care delivery. Join this session to understand the national landscape of workforce challenges and opportunities, discuss a framework for moving the workforce to a strategic priority and learn how colleagues are doing this work locally.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe current challenges and opportunities in the healthcare workforce across clinical and nonclinical professions.
  • Apply a framework for action to address workforce challenges and prioritize workforce strategy, as well as discover local successful practices and approaches to take home.
