56H—Exploring New Ways to Power Health System Excellence With Diagnostics

Tuesday, March 29th

About the Session

Once-in-a-generation challenges are driving hospital leaders to seek transformative healthcare strategies. While diagnostics services can represent a small portion of overall healthcare spend, there remains untapped potential to leverage the full power of diagnostics to help improve patient and hospital health. New diagnostic collaboration models and analytics tools are emerging that can help hospitals reveal new opportunities and deliver more value for their organization, physicians, and patients.

This program will introduce and explore emerging diagnostics business models for delivering better value based on your organizational vision; provide an assessment framework for applying organization fit to these models; and demonstrate the value of this complementary approach from a clinical, operational, and financial perspective. The use of an actual case study and assessment framework will provide immediate take-home tools for application.

Learning Objectives:

  • Introduce emerging diagnostics business models that may encourage new expectations of the value of your lab operations.
  • Provide a framework that invites a dialogue on new and emerging diagnostics business models that help enable your organizational vision.
