About the Session

This session will present you with the skills you need to be an agile leader. The presentation will build on videos and case studies developed in select healthcare organizations, evidence from leadership and management studies, and the presenter’s experience as an executive coach, consultant and researcher. Areas of focus include patient, employee and physician engagement; quality and safety outcomes; and financial metrics. At the end of this session, you will receive a behavioral change toolkit that focuses on different leadership situations such as how you manage your focus and attention; speak and listen to others; act every day; make decisions; give credit to others; respond to criticism; handle conflict and failure; inspire change; and drive success.
