About the Session

This session will share the history of the Cleveland Clinic coaching program, including quantitative and qualitative information on the impact of coaching since its inception. This work is innovative and grounded in theory and principles that align with the International Coaching Federation’s standards for coaches. The coaching program extends even beyond the typical coaching relationships leaders think about to providing tools and skills to all caregivers, which enables better dialogue across the organization. You will take away an understanding of this approach to coaching and tools that can be used for more productive conversations about workforce performance or development. You also will hear, via video, from leaders and physician leaders about the impact coaching has had on their daily work and personal lives.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop and practice two coaching skills that will enable you to apply these new skills in your organization.
