About the Session
This session will focus on preparing students and early careerists in assessing, determining, establishing and sustaining a vibrant organizational culture. Presenters will discuss 10 key dimensions of cultural vibrancy, tailoring them to aspiring healthcare leaders. These dimensions include topics such as finding purpose, reward and recognition, community involvement, fun and joy, life-long learning, measuring engagement, choosing and/or removing talent, and leading with physicians. Dr. Berrett, who has over 25 years of executive healthcare leadership, and Mr. Springer, a newly appointed hospital CEO, will provide real-life experiences and invite participants to create a personal leadership development plan to prepare for their executive responsibilities.
