About the Session

This seminar will provide an overview of approaches for reducing the institutional cost associated with the lab, such as increasing efficiency and reducing waste. You will review the added value the lab brings to a healthcare system via better use of the lab, faster time to result and diagnosis, and shorter length of stay. Faculty will share how opportunities for increasing communication and consultation are important for pathologists to become more integrated into their healthcare systems.
