About the Session

During this session, you will hear about Sutter Health’s transformation to becoming a leader in mental health in terms of access, affordability, policy and advocacy. The presenters will share global, national, state and local perspectives and associated practices on the topic to ensure you have relevant and specific tools to bring back to your organization and community. Faculty also will address community benefit strategy and associated local and national partnerships that help move mental health and addiction forward at the local level. You will learn from a case study example and discussion around issues related to personalized care and mental health. In addition, because the workplace is an essential aspect of population health, the presenters will discuss mental health and suicide prevention as it relates to the communities you lead and how addressing these issues is essential to quality, staff retention and other business factors.
