About the Session
This session will be held at the Swissôtel Chicago; includes a 15-minute break.
This seminar will offer a detailed look at change management tools and approaches that can increase the exposure to and participation of staff and leadership in shaping new solutions and interventions and sustaining performance gains. One of the many strengths of robust process improvement is the combination of data-driven problem solving through Lean Six Sigma and the Center for Transforming Healthcare’s model for change management, known as facilitating change. Participants also will gain an understanding of how culture and leadership can help or hinder efforts to improve organizational performance. Hands-on activities will allow participants to experience change management tools they can use immediately.
Learning Objectives:
- Discover how to assess organizational culture and understand its effect on change initiatives.
- Develop an understanding of the role change management plays in sustaining improvements and learn to use change management tools daily.
