Leading on Environmental Sustainability Boot Camp

8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Pursuing environmental sustainability is not only the right thing to do for human health but also can be very good for your bottom line—including saving money, attracting new employees and better engaging the people already working for you. In this workshop, participants will learn why planetary health is so important to human health, why healthcare is the ideal sector to lead on maintaining a healthy planet, and strategies hospitals from across the world are using to increase their sustainability and resilience, while also creating more efficient and engaged workplaces.

Learning Objectives

  • Gain a deeper understanding of leading environmental sustainability practices in healthcare settings.  
  • Identify ideal next steps for your organization to take in pursuing an environmental sustainability strategy.

Healthcare leaders can sign up for this session during Congress registration, or choose to attend independently.

Earn an additional 6 ACHE Face-to-Face Education Credits or other continuing education credits by participating.
