AHA Special Session: The Future of Our Healthcare Workforce

Mounting workforce challenges continue to put significant strain on hospitals and health systems. From personnel shortages to burnout, significant effort is needed to address the root causes of these issues and implement sustainable solutions for improvement. Join this Special Session with representatives from the American Hospital Association Board of Trustees’ Task Force on Workforce as they share the comprehensive work they have done to help hospitals and health systems navigate workforce challenges and opportunities. Specific examples will be shared for how healthcare leaders can address the immediate workforce challenges of today, while proactively planning for a better tomorrow. Guidance will also be provided on how to create a culture of healing, redesign care models, drive technology-based solutions, and build pathways for our future workforce to grow and thrive.
