Session Details
Drawing from our ongoing rapid and international research, this session will address the evolving context of healthcare leadership and implications for leaders and talent management/leadership development. This involves considering the concept of a leadership organization in which leadership is dispersed and embedded effectively throughout the organization, rather than a function entitled to those in positional roles. Participants will discuss ways in which leaders at different levels can apply it, as well as how they relate to talent management, training and development, and other organizational development functions.
Learning Objectives
- Describe key aspects of the current health leadership context and of a leadership organization.
- Identify how to apply these aspects to leadership practice, as well as to talent management, training and support.
