Congress on Healthcare Leadership Health and Safety Information
The ACHE Board of Governors looks forward to welcoming you in person to the 2022 Congress on Healthcare Leadership!
We know you prioritize the health and safety of your patients and communities every day, and we prioritize yours. That’s why we are taking important steps to attempt to make the 2022 Congress on Healthcare Leadership the safest in-person event in our field to date.
Like you, we have continued to watch the changing policies and key metrics in Chicago and are extremely pleased that the environment is moving into a pre-defined “lower” risk category. With advice from our medical advisor and the increasingly positive outlook, we have refined our health and safety guidelines for our Congress attendees, faculty, exhibitors, staff and guests.

Masking
We recognize that this is a large event, and although CDC, state and local guidelines do not currently require masking indoors in the city of Chicago, ACHE continues to recommend masking while indoors, especially for those who are not up-to-date on their vaccinations or are immunocompromised.
ACHE also will have masks available for all attendees.
Cleaning and Sanitizing
In addition to this three-step process, cleaning and sanitizing will be prioritized across all surfaces throughout the event.
ACHE is also organizing the set-up of each individual session to ensure that social distancing options are made available for individuals to self-select based on their comfort level.
Seated lunches and breakfasts will have a reduced capacity to allow for additional distancing while unmasked.
