Dr. Khaled Alabdulkareem, currently serving as the Deputy Minister for Planning and Transformation at the Ministry of Health in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With a professional title of Consultant Family Medicine, he has made significant contributions to the field of healthcare.
Throughout his career, Dr. Khaled has gained expertise in family medicine and diabetes management. He has served as a Consultant of Family Medicine at various institutions including governmental and private along with academic institutions .
As an assistant deputy minister for primary healthcare, Dr. Khaled has played a key role in the enhancement of primary care as the National lead of Enhancement of Primary Care especially in the population empanelment project.
He has also taken on important responsibilities in managing the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the National lead, he has overseen crucial programs such as the COVID-19 vaccination program, mass testing program, and the establishment of fever clinics.
Dr. Khaled's academic achievements include an MBA in International Healthcare Management, fellowship training in diabetes, the MRCGP, the Arab Board in Family Medicine, and the Saudi Board in Family Medicine.
With his diverse experience and expertise, Dr. Khaled Alabdulkareem continues to contribute to the advancement of healthcare in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
