Dr Lisa Pierce serves as the Vice-President of Advanced Practice at OSF HealthCare. As a doctorally prepared nurse (DNP) leader, she has served as the APP Fellowship Program Director and oversee the day-to-day operations of the OSF APP Fellowship. In addition, she has served as the Principal Investigator for the HRSA Advanced Nursing Education – Nurse Practitioner Residency Integration Program (ANE-NPRIP) grant, leading the project implementation and evaluation. She has precepted and mentored countless BSN, MSN, and DNP students, as well as many new fellowship program directors while also serving as faculty at the University of Illinois College of Nursing at Peoria. She has served as President of the Association of PostGraduate APRN Programs (APGAP) board of the directors, and on the Steering Committee member of the National Collaborative for Improving the Clinical Learning Environment (NCICLE). She has delivered over 25 podium presentations at national and international conferences in the last five years related to advanced practice education, leadership, and practice concerns, and has recently published research related to the APP Fellowship and advanced practice.
