Kimberly Hobson-Gary
Biography
Kimberly currently serves as CEO of the South Side Healthy Community Organization (SSHCO). In this role, she holds responsibility for implementing the Healthy Community Model which aims to better connect health organizations, increase access to care, address challenging health issues, and ultimately, build health equity and ensure stronger, healthier communities. Kimberly is passionate about transforming health on the south side of Chicago.
With a healthcare background of over 25 years, Kimberly has established a strong leadership presence. In addition to the SSHCO, she served as CEO of JourneyCare and held leadership roles at University of Chicago, Advocate Health, Mercy Hospital and Humana Health Plan. She has a proven record of successfully developing strategic partnerships, leading clinical expansions, program development and implementation, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving financial growth.
Kimberly earned an MBA from Purdue University, a BA Degree from UofI Chicago and completed the Chicago Management Institute at UofC’s Booth School of Business.
