Intentional Leadership
Physician leadership is no longer optional—it's essential. As healthcare systems face increasingly complex operational, clinical and financial demands, the voices of those who’ve cared for patients at the bedside must be present in the boardroom. This session will feature three accomplished physician leaders who have successfully transitioned into senior executive roles. They will share their personal journeys—from moments of uncertainty to clarity of purpose—as well as the key leadership skills that helped them bridge the gap between clinical care and executive leadership.
You will learn strategies for developing physician leaders from within their organizations and walk away with tools that support both physicians aspiring to lead and administrators seeking to empower them. The session will tackle the problem of underdeveloped physician leadership pipelines by offering actionable tools and frameworks. Short-term outcomes for learners include enhanced awareness of essential leadership competencies and practical strategies for developing and mentoring physician leaders. Long-term, participants will be equipped to foster a leadership culture that values both clinical insight and operational excellence—ensuring improved retention, collaboration and strategic decision-making. This session will include panel discussion, storytelling, audience Q&A and actionable advice for real-world implementation.
