This panel discussion will explore provider compensation plan design, implementation and outcomes that were integrated within the four panel members' organizations. The panel members have unique perspectives from varying organizational structures, strategies and objectives, including a large multispecialty Level 1 trauma system, a school of medicine GME program embedded in a large multispecialty health system and university, a federally qualified health center offering primary and specialty care in multiple locations, and a critical access hospital offering significant primary and specialty services.
The four leaders will present the expected and unexpected outcomes that have been achieved since implementing the new compensation plans. They will highlight the benefits as well as challenges that were identified during the redesign process and specifically focus on the goal of improved organizational alignment to create improved quality, service and sustainability. The session will close with a summary of the return on investment the four organizations have achieved since embarking on the redesign journey and planned future redesign strategies.
