    Cassandra Self, DHA, FACHE CVAHP, CMM, LSSBB currently serves as a Professional Services and Finance Officer at Texas Health Azle in north Texas. She joined ACHE in 2019 and earned her Fellow status in 2021. Cassandra joined AHVAP in 2023 and earned CVAHP in 2024. She has worked in the healthcare industry for twenty years in various administrative capacities throughout Texas including managed care contracting, central business office operations, clinic management, supply chain procurement and sourcing. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and completed her Doctorate of Healthcare Administration at Oklahoma State University in May 2024. Along with being a board member of the ACHE North Texas Chapter, Cassandra currently serves in several chapter committees. Cassandra is a board member of Texas Native Health, an urban tribal health center in Dallas. She volunteers as a region lead for Soft Bones, Inc and is a proud citizen of the Muscogee Nation. Cassandra and her husband Zeb live in north Texas and have five children ranging in age from 4 to 19 years old.
