Matt Coursen is the U.S. Healthcare Lead for the Leasing Advisory services platform at JLL. He leads a team of 500 healthcare specialists across the United States who represent owners and investors of medical properties as well as occupiers of that asset class including hospitals, health systems and high-growth health networks.
Since 2005, Mr. Coursen has advised his clients on over 1,000 real estate transactions valued in excess of $2B. His clients value him for his ability to devise sophisticated, data-driven real estate strategies, for his experience negotiating complex lease and purchase transactions, and for his commitment to their core values. Mr. Coursen believes that the key to building an effective real estate strategy is harnessing big data in a sophisticated analytics platform. Since 2018, Mr. Coursen has partnered closely with JLL Technologies to develop a proprietary data analytics software called OneMapIQ that has enabled highly effective strategies for many of the most respected healthcare organizations in the country.
