Jamie Lagarde is the Founder of Masonry Health and a healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning business, technology, and community leadership. Since 2014, Jamie has focused on designing and optimizing employer-sponsored health plans, helping organizations regain control of healthcare costs while improving access, quality, and the member experience.
Jamie has led large-scale health plan transformations, including rebuilding the Goodwill Central Texas health plan, which resulted in nearly $3 million in savings in the first year while enhancing benefits for employees. His work emphasizes transparency, data-driven decision-making, and long-term sustainability in healthcare strategy.
In addition to his work at Masonry Health, Jamie has served as Interim President and CEO of Goodwill Central Texas and spent nearly a decade on its Board of Directors, including three years as Board Chair. He also co-founded Sedera in 2014 and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2017. Under his leadership, Sedera grew into an award-winning health plan serving more than 30,000 members, recognized for its innovative approach to healthcare affordability, transparency, and member experience.
Jamie holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and General Engineering from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and has lived in Austin for more than 25 years.
