He often supports public and private company board retreats, university symposiums, and is an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health supporting the Masters of Healthcare Administration curriculum.
As Chief Growth & Corporate Development Officer at Lumeris John leads strategic partnerships and commercialization for Tom™, an AI-enabled Primary Care as a Service (PCaaS) platform. He has helped scale Lumeris-managed populations to 2.5M lives and approximately $13B in medical spend, driving $2.5B+ in revenue impact tied to value-based performance. In 2025, he established the Collaborative for Healthy Rural America (CHRA) with Teladoc, Deloitte, Google, and Unite Us to support states pursuing CMS’ Rural Health Transformation Program. John has focused his career on driving large business model transformation efforts, leading project teams to create executable strategies to drive growth and long-term organizational sustainability.
John’s background in digital transformation and strategy consulting for healthcare organizations has helped him to develop a broad range of skills including enterprise strategic planning, financial analysis, value-based contracting, physician network organization, disruptive technology deployment, and clinical integration. These skills, along with his strategic vision, deep customer empathy, and focus on driving improvements in healthcare delivery, allow him to support health systems, payers, and provider groups as they continue to reinvent themselves in the fast-evolving healthcare environment.
