Julia Resnick is a seasoned health care strategist and thought leader, serving as Senior Director of Health Outcomes and Care Transformation at the American Hospital Association (AHA). Over nearly thirteen years at AHA, she has shaped national efforts to strengthen community and population health initiatives, advance value-based care and address social drivers of health. Her portfolio reflects a deep commitment to aligning clinical innovation with community impact, ensuring that hospitals and health systems can improve outcomes for the patients and communities they serve.
In her current role, Julia leads the AHA’s strategic agenda on maternal and child health and care delivery transformation, guiding resource development and collaborations to improve outcomes across the continuum of care.
Prior to joining AHA, Julia contributed to clinical research at Endeavor Health (formerly NorthShore University HealthSystem), where she gained firsthand experience in evidence-based practice and translational research.
Grounded in sociology and public health, Julia brings a systems-level perspective to her work, driven by a mission to build a health care ecosystem that delivers better outcomes for all.
Outside of her professional role, Julia finds balance through time with her husband and dog, hiking, cooking, traveling, and reading.
