Frantz M. Berthaud, MPH, FACHE is a nationally recognized healthcare executive and speaker with a deep passion for advancing equity in cancer care. He is currently the Senior Vice President, Oncology Services at University Medical Center of El Paso, where he leads operations and strategy for the hospital’s oncology services. This work includes the development of the Fox Cancer Center. He has over 15 years of healthcare experience, including Market Director of Oncology for The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, and several leadership positions at the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
As a thought leader in cancer care strategy and health equity, Mr. Berthaud has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and featured at conferences hosted by the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Oncology Nursing Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Texas Medical Association. He is the President-Elect of ACHE of the Southwest, a Legislative Ambassador for the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network, and a board member for the United Way of El Paso County, amongst other volunteer roles at academic and community organizations. His work continues to influence healthcare delivery, access, and leadership equity at both organizational and community levels.
Mr. Berthaud is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Biology and Philosophy from Boston College.
