Senior Director, Nursing
Sutter Health
Bryan is the Senior Director of Nursing at Sutter Amador Hospital, where he oversees operations including the emergency department, intensive care unit, and nursing administrative supervisors. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Service Lines and Capacity Management at Sutter Eden Medical Center, where he led the hospital to become designated as Alameda County’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center. During his tenure at Sutter Health, Bryan has been a recipient of an American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Regent’s Award and speaker at the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
Before joining Sutter, Bryan stood up the Intensive Outpatient Care Management program for La Clínica, one of the largest community health centers in California. This program was recognized by Partnership HealthPlan of California for successfully addressing the complex clinical and non-clinical needs of Managed Medi-Cal beneficiaries, earning him a Care Excellence Award from La Clínica and an invitation to speak at the California Primary Care Association’s Annual Conference.
Bryan’s leadership extends beyond the hospital. As a board member—and now president— of Habitat for Humanity Merced-Stanislaus Counties, he co-chaired the internal audit committee during a pivotal merger and led disaster recovery efforts in Planada.
A registered nurse with an MBA, Bryan is a certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ) and is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
