Matthew DeBoer is a Vice President and Director of Community Architecture for HDR. Matthew has been an employee owner with HDR for 12 years and has 19 years of experience in the industry. He has served in several leadership roles at HDR including the Managing Principal of the Omaha Architecture office for six years.
As the Director of Community Architecture he is tasked with developing and nurturing strong relationships with key clients in Nebraska while also driving the strategy of HDR’s community architecture practice globally. This includes project typologies such as Arts and Culture, Sports and Recreation, Housing, and Urban Planning.
Matthew reinforces HDR’s commitment to serving our communities where we live, work and play and he proudly serves as a board member for the United Way of the Midlands, the Food Bank for the Heartland and the Aksarben Foundation.
