Nike Onifade, FACHE, is a nationally recognized healthcare executive committed to advancing patient-centered, high-quality care delivery. She serves as Senior Vice President of the National Cancer Service Line at Advocate Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems. In this role, Nike oversees the strategic integration, clinical alignment, growth, and innovation of cancer care, education, and research across Advocate Health’s multi-state footprint.
Prior to joining Advocate Health, Nike was Division Vice President of the Oncology Service Line for Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and the Texas Division of CommonSpirit Health. She has also held senior leadership positions at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Columbia University Medical Center, where she drove initiatives that expanded access, strengthened clinical partnerships, and transformed operational performance.
Beyond her executive responsibilities, Nike contributes to the broader healthcare community through governance and advisory roles. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Rose Center for Breast Health and for Presbyterian SeniorCare Network’s operating board. She is also on the Advisory Board of Howard University’s Master of Health Administration Program. Nike has been celebrated by leading industry and business organizations for her leadership in healthcare. She has been named a Top Healthcare Leader Under 40 and Black Healthcare Leader to Know by Becker’s Healthcare, an Outstanding Diversity Champion by the Houston Business Journal, and a Top 100 Executive Under 50 by Diversity MBA.
A dedicated advocate for education and leadership development, Nike mentors students, fellows, and emerging professionals through her alma maters and national organizations, including the National Association of Health Services Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). As a Fellow of ACHE, she is board-certified in healthcare management. Nike earned her master’s degree in healthcare policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University and her bachelor’s degree in biology from Cornell University.
