Yvonne Moon, MHA, BSN, RN-BC is the Chief Nursing Officer at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, where she has been a dedicated leader within the University Hospitals system since 2010. Yvonne began her nursing career in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department, an experience that shaped her passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
In her current role, Yvonne oversees daily nursing operations, champions the patient experience, and drives the implementation of quality and safety initiatives aligned with a Zero Harm culture. Under her leadership, nursing teams have achieved consistently strong patient experience scores and advanced outcomes through a focus on collaboration, accountability, and evidence-based practice.
A passionate advocate for professional growth, Yvonne actively mentors emerging nurse leaders across the organization, fostering a culture of support and continuous improvement. She also serves on several community and district boards, extending her leadership beyond hospital walls.
Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Ohio University and is board certified in gerontology nursing. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Case Western Reserve University.
