Camille Applin-Jones serves as the Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, where she oversees the Panorama City Medical Center as Hospital CEO and the Antelope Valley in Southern California. With more than 25 years of experience in both care delivery and health plan administration, she is a recognized leader in her field. Camille has been named one of the Top 200 Leaders in the Valley by the LA Business Journal and has received the honor of being a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Currently, Camille leads service areas that provide ambulatory and hospital services to over 450,000 members in the Greater San Fernando Valley. Before this role, she was the Northwest Market Vice President for Ambulatory Care and Clinical Services, where she directed health plan operations across Oregon and Southwest Washington, serving 630,000 members.
Camille began her career as an inpatient nurse, having undergone rigorous training with the United States Army at the Academy of Health Sciences in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington. Her academic achievements include a bachelor's degree in nursing, a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix, an MBA with a healthcare emphasis from Frederick Taylor University, and completion of the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
As a passionate advocate for health equity and excellence in care delivery, Camille is dedicated to improving the nation's healthcare systems. In addition to her professional commitments, she actively participates in volunteer organizations, spends quality time with her family, enjoys live music and sports (Go Warriors!), and takes pleasure in outdoor walks with her shelter rescue pet.
