Corey Champeau, MBA, MHS, CPHQ, CPPS, PA-C, is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 19 years of healthcare experience and a relentless commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. With a background as a Physician Assistant at UConn Health and Connecticut Children’s, Corey developed a profound passion for effecting change on a broader scale. This drive led her to pursue continued education, earning an MBA from Quinnipiac University, and obtaining certifications as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). Corey's dedication to excellence in healthcare quality propelled her to complete the Clinical Quality Fellowship Program through the Greater New York Healthcare Association (GNYHA).
Throughout her career, Corey has demonstrated a remarkable ability to integrate, collaborate, and restructure organizations, driving them towards higher standards of patient care. For the past 6 years, she has been instrumental in leading patient safety and quality initiatives within large academic health systems.
