Thaila Cooper, MHA, is a rising leader in healthcare administration, driven by her commitment to improving clinical operations and patient care. Currently an Administrative Fellow at Cleveland Clinic, she leverages her diverse background in clinical management and healthcare operations to contribute to key projects focused throughout the enterprise.
Thaila brings experience from her previous role as Clinical Manager at an internal medicine practice in DC, where she successfully oversaw the growth and operational efficiency of two primary care offices, managing a team of clinical and administrative staff. In this role, Thaila spearheaded the acquisition of a new practice, reengineered patient intake processes, and implemented initiatives to improve clinical workflow and care quality. Thaila is also passionate about strategic planning and business development, focusing on driving organizational growth and fostering long-term sustainability.
A graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences, Thaila further honed her expertise by earning a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she completed a graduate internship at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. There, she applied her skills in data analysis, process improvement, and financial modeling to optimize patient access and operational workflows.
Thaila is passionate about driving systemic change in healthcare and empowering teams to achieve their full potential. With experience in clinical operations, patient care, strategic planning, and business development, she is focused on contributing to healthcare practices that enhance both operational efficiency and patient experiences.
