Associate Administrator, Hospital Administration/Chief of Staff

Anne McGilvray is the associate administrator for hospital administration and chief of staff at Keck Medical Center of USC. In this role, she supports the Office of the CEO and works closely with physicians, executive team members and staff to execute key strategic programs and initiatives.
By ensuring alignment of goals and deployment of change management strategies, Anne has played a key role in advancing employee engagement and leadership development programs. She has also helped build Keck Medical Center’s purposeful leadership culture, which is credited with supporting achievement of high patient quality and safety rankings, a nationally regarded physician and nurse professionalism program and the more recent launch of a middle manager leadership development program.
Prior to her current role, Anne served in several organizational effectiveness and human resources positions at Keck Medicine of USC, where she is credited with the development of employee engagement strategies, including a communications program and various events. She played a key role during the COVID-19 pandemic by helping to stand up operations and ensure timely communications, as well as in the recent acquisition of USC Arcadia Hospital. She also helped develop Keck Medicine’s award-winning Care for the Caregiver program and is a founding member of the DEI Steering Committee, where she developed a DEI-focused communications program, events and employee resource groups.
Anne has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Southern California.
