Natalia Szczygiel serves as vice president, behavioral health operations, Corewell Health™. Natalia leads her teams with passion and a drive to positively impact patients, communities, and employees. Her dedication to program development and expansion paired with lean process design ensure sustainable access to behavioral healthcare for our communities.
Natalia assumed the role of vice president, behavioral health in 2023. In this role, Natalia is responsible for the strategy, operations and financial management of behavioral health services across the continuum of care in all three regions of Corewell Health. She has led behavioral health integration in primary care and specialty settings along with developing value programming related to inpatient and ambulatory psychiatry, behavioral medicine and addiction medicine. She joined Corewell Health in 2014 providing leadership and strategic direction for developing new ambulatory integrated campuses. Prior to joining Corewell Health, Natalia served as a practice manager and administrative fellow at Endeavor Health (formerly known as NorthShore University HealthSystem). She has provided her expertise at state and national forums such as the Medical Group Management Association and Children’s Hospital Association.
Natalia earned her master of health services administration and bachelor of science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is a fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is certified in operations management.
As an active community member, Natalia serves on several school and church committees along with serving as director for a children’s Polish folklore dance group.
