Nicole M Manuel, MHA, is the Associate Director, High Reliability Knowledge Management within the Office of High Reliability Enterprise Support, where she is responsible for providing support for VHA’s High Reliability Organization (HRO) transformation. She provides leadership to the team supporting national HRO communications, dashboards, awards and recognition, governance, and digital resource management. Nicole joined VHA in 2007 as an Administrative Fellow at the St. Louis VAMC. She has since served in several roles including Administrative Officer of Nursing Service for both St. Louis VAMC and VA Gulf Coast and joined the VHACO Program Office High Reliability Systems and Consultation in 2010 as a Systems Redesign Program Analyst. Her role over the last few years has evolved into Program/Project Management and Leadership. Her areas of responsibility include Program/Project Management, Process Improvement, Change Management and Quality Assurance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with minors in Business Administration, Communication, and History from Louisiana State University and a Master of Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
