Jason Lesandrini, PhD, is an expert in healthcare ethics and leveraging innovative techniques to build ethical capacity, leaders, and team. He leads the departments of ethics, advance care planning, spiritual health, and language access services for Wellstar Heallth System in Georgia. In this critical role, Dr. Lesandrini provides visionary leadership and resources to promote ethical behavior, decision-making, and conduct aligned with the system's mission, vision, and values.
As a respected educator, Dr. Lesandrini serves as a faculty member for the Physician Assistant Programs at Mercer University and South College in Atlanta. He has also worked as an esteemed ethics resource for numerous national professional organizations. Dr. Lesandrini's academic degrees includes a PhD in Healthcare Ethics from Duquesne University, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Michigan State University.
Alongside his innovative leadership within healthcare, Dr. Lesandrini is the founder and principal of The Ethics Architect, an outcomes-driven consulting firm specializing in the assessment and execution of ethics programming, nurturing ethical cultures, and developing ethical leaders. A core tenet of his work is applying medical improv techniques to enhance interpersonal skills and ethical mindsets critical for exceptional patient care.
Dr. Lesandrini holds certifications, including Certified Healthcare Ethics Consultant, Compliance & Ethics Professional, and he is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
