Rich Greenhill serves as the chief transformation officer (CTO) at Quality Insights and the editor-in-chief of the International Journal for Quality in Healthcare, Communications (IJCOMS), an Oxford University Press and International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) peer reviewed publication. In his CTO role, he spearheads strategic initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity and competitiveness. His career spans more than 30 years with deep experience across the continuum. He is a sought-after international and national speaker on topics related to AI use in healthcare delivery, quality and patient safety. He is an expert for the ISQua, World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). Greenhill was elected to the prestigious International Academy for Quality in Healthcare (IAQS), joining luminaries in the universe of quality improvement and patient safety, such as Sir Liam Donaldson, Donald Berwick and Jeffrey Braithwaite. Membership in the IAQS is lifelong and one of the highest honors that someone in healthcare quality can achieve.
He holds a Doctorate in Health Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master of Science in Data Science from Texas Tech University, a Master of Business Administration a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University. Greenhill is an ACHE Fellow, a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (SSMBB), a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP-CMS). In addition, he is an Executive Coach and Prosci Certified Change Practictioner.
Greenhill serves as ACHE Choice faculty for Revitalizing Quality and Patient Safety Practices Through Interprofessional Collaboration seminars and faulty for other ACHE offerings including the Career Accelerator Program, the Executive Program and the Thomas C. Dolan Diversity in Executive Leadership Program.
