Amber Campbell, DBA, MBA, FACHE, is the Chief Executive Office for Ambulatory Care in the Greater Central Valley Division at Sutter Health. Amber oversees clinical operations for over 475+ clinicians at Gould Medical Group and outpatient services for Sutter Gould Medical Foundation. She joined Sutter Health fifteen years ago and has worked in acute care, ambulatory care, service lines, and strategy and business development. In addition to serving as the Board Chair of the Career Development Transition Committee of the California Association of Healthcare Leader, Amber serves as the President for the Association of Cancer Executives Board of Directors, the Chair for the American Heart Association Go Red for Women, as an Executive Leadership Team member for the Alzheimer’s Association, and on the Board of Directors for Community Hospice of the Central Valley. She is passionate about justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion and completed her doctoral studies in Gender Disparities: The Role of Women Healthcare Leadership as well as serves on the Sutter Women’s Inclusion Resource Group and is the Executive Sponsor of the Gould DEI Council.
Amber is the author of Fierce: The Power of Owning Your Journey which was released in December 2020 to help entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders achieve their next milestones with a clear strategic plan. She is passionate about serving her community as Amber was born and raised in the Central Valley. She is the mother of four Grace (18), Grant (13), Dylan (8) and Abby (her Cavapoo) as well as an avid traveler, foodie, and dancer.
