Andy Poole is an experienced healthcare executive with a focus on improving outcomes and reducing the cost of care across the continuum of care. As a thought leader for ECRI, he works with leaders across the county to address current challenges and better prepare them for the evolving healthcare landscape.
Prior to joining ECRI, served as the CEO of Monticello Community Surgery Center (MCSC) a 4 room multi-specialty surgery center in central Virginia. During his tenure MCSC integrated multiple service lines and increase case volumes through developing partnerships with community physicians and local health systems as well as implementing innovative reimbursement strategies focused on bundled pricing and price transparency. Andy began his healthcare career as a Physical Therapist and led rehabilitation departments at UVA Health and Augusta Medical Center.
Andy earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Health Care Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and has served on the Board of the Virginia Ambulatory Surgery Association.
